I always love a good circus

Stories from Mother Teresa Primary School, Harrison ACT
responding to artworks from schools in China

1.    Maddie Age 9
I always love a good circus especially a musical one with laughter and elephants. They always are lots of fun with acrobats and ribbons and the band playing their song. The drums, piano and guitar are great. I have lots of fun at the musical circus and hope you do too. It’s time to say goodbye to the wonderful music show.

This reminds me of a time when I was on a bushwalk and I saw a tree with a birds nest in it.

One windy sunset the grass was swaying back and forth. The explorer struggled to walk against the wind. “Oh how much longer” he thought as he struggled more “Why is the weather punishing me? When will I reach my stranded family – I must not stop” he thought with a determined mind.

This reminds me of Darwin cause it has bright colours and Darwin is really hot!

It’s a meadow with a train passing by. There is a wind blowing. The tree is a blueberry tree and the birds come and eat them in the afternoon.

The waterfall goes into a river and it has ducks around it. There might be another waterfall at the end that goes into a creek.

This is a sunset because I can see yellow and other colours in the sunset. You can see the sun behind it- and there are bits of light not joined together to the sunset – and it makes the sunset spread out.

This is a music map! It’s for happy music because it has lots of colours and it’s played by fairies.

Uluru
As the eucalyptus trees grow the river flows. A nice view for a few. The flowers blossom to the call of the red rock standing tallest of all.  All the cracks causing caves, boulders falling to the waves. Emus galloping to the wind howling. The sun shines and the kookaburra chimes. The kangaroos stand to the heat not a sound – not a heart beat – for this is the red center.

Leaves falling. Windy weather. It was the start of autumn all the beautiful leaves were on the ground but a few weeks later it started getting cold. Very windy, raining and thunder storming. It was the beginning of winter. It was cold and wet weather so we had to wear lots of clothes. Then it was getting hot. It was the first day of Spring and the leaves were back to normal. The sun was shining the sky was blue Everything felt true There were wonderful flowers I even picked some and I even asked a friend to come. Every season is beautiful even if it’s cold, hot or windy . Seasons are awesome.
