It was cloudy and stormy and there was no sign of the sun – instead it was pouring rain. Everyone was waiting for the sun to come out and brighten up the dark, stormy day. It was like that for the last few days but the next day when everyone had given up the sun peeked through the clouds, it was still raining at the same time and then an amazing burst of colours appeared in the sky and everyone rushed to their windows to see all the amazing colours in the sky. They all knew that the sun would come again every rainy day.

The wind was howling. The storm was blowing closer. The trees looked as if they were trying to run away from the storm. The river was still flowing. How good it would have felt to be water. Constantly escaping all bad things never stopping at any one place at any one time. This was the most beautiful and wonderous place in the world.

The wind blew strong – it was the last tree in the world. The tree stayed hidden in long grass surrounding it. There used to be hundreds of thousands of trees but man found amgreat use in the trees and slowly but eventually the trees became harder and harder to find and then they were all gone except one. Nobody cared about the trees anymore. Everybody was so caught up in what technology could do that nobody cared about trees. The world became polluted and then many people died but one person saw this and searched for the last tree in the world. This person found the tree and saw the beautiful sunset gaze upon this tree and never felt better in his life.

One ordinary day there lived a cute little boy. He had the dream to play drums. His parents were worried he ‘d hit himself. They always talked about how dangerous it was when it actually wasn’t. One time he snuck into his parents room and played them. It woke the parents! They kickedhim out of the house! It was cold when he went to bed and he had no dinner. In the morning a nice lady was waiting for him to wake up. When he did wake up the lady said “Oh my goodness. Dear child I thought you were dead! Have you been out here all night. He nodded and said “drums” “Come home to my house I have lots of drums for you to play” And so he did. He was then the happiest five year old in the world.
